The team of the school is of high quality, consisting of first-class specialists who work with ambition, enthusiasm and selflessness to achieve top results. At MINERVA you will find a balanced mixture of professionalism and experience, on the one hand, and youthful zeal and approach, on the other.
We possess wide theoretical knowledge in our field of expertise, enriched with substantial personal practical experience, individual flair, know-how and show-how.
Katya Tomova
She graduated in Bulgarian and English from the University of Plovdiv ‘Paisii Hilendarski’ with a Master’s Degree and completed an additional two-year specialisation in Bank Administration.
She passed the Certificate of Proficiency in English, the highest level of general English exams of the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations.
She attended seminars for teachers organised by the British Council and completed training in Swansea, Wales.
As a tutor at MINERVA she teaches General English and groups for specialised preparation for international examinations. She possesses excellent managerial skills and is the main driving force of the work at the company. She is very creative in her work during and between the lessons, organises memorable school parties and, as a whole, turns the life at the school into a much more valuable and fulfilling experience.
Emil Panayotov
He graduated in Bulgarian and English from the University of Plovdiv ‘Paisii Hilendarski’ with a Master’s Degree and completed an additional two-year specialisation in Journalism. He also acquired a degree in Military Translation at the National Military University in Veliko Tarnovo.
He passed the Certificate of Proficiency in English, the highest level
of general English exams of the University of Cambridge ESOL
Examinations.
Following a complex process of selection and training, he became a certified Cambridge ESOL examiner in Bulgaria. The first-hand experience with the high standards of one of the most highly respected educational institutions in the world enriched him even more and introduced him in details to the requirements at both ends of the candidate-examining institution relationship.
He possesses a constant desire for self-development and eagerness to learn. He attended training seminars organised by the British Council and specialised in London, UK.
As a tutor at MINERVA he teaches General English, Business English, Bulgarian for Foreigners, as well as groups for specialised preparation for international examinations.
As a translator he has solid experience in written translations of a variety of subject matter and has interpreted during different events, including abroad.
Our team also includes other teachers and translators who offer their invaluable help in achieving common goals.
